Banyan Software, a B2B acquisition firm, has acquired Touchstream, a specialist in streaming quality analysis. Announced days before NAB 2025 opened its doors, the deal is a reminder that outside investors remain interested in the media and entertainment industry, despite its obvious troubles, especially as many streaming technology suppliers, like Touchstream, are generating healthy profits. Touchstream CEO and co-founder Brenton Ough tells Faultline he only accepted Banyan’s offer on the promise of increased investment in product development.
