When President Trump talked up the introduction of tariffs on Chinese products we did wonder what the economic effect would be and how we might measure it. But now the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and the National Retail Federation (NRF) have had a stab at the job for us, and the results look fairly negative at first glance for both the US and for China.
