Video technology vendors are doing all they can to hint at personalization, even if the infrastructure to offer the full Monty still seems light years away. Last week, we reported on a new partnership between French CDN software specialist Broadpeak and streaming suite Okast. Dubbed FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) 2.0, the joint offering merges Broadpeak’s server-side ad insertion (SSAI) technology and Advanced CDN with Okast’s Channels programming offering.
