Newly merged ViacomCBS has lost little time reinforcing the CBS All Access streaming service with the now freely-available Viacom assets, including the fast-growing ad-supported Pluto TV. The re-merger of Viacom and CBS has attracted the least attention of the big media consolidations that have taken place over the last two years, certainly outside North America, reflecting how the combined company will struggle to keep pace with the big hitters such as Netflix, Disney, Comcast and Amazon.
