As demand for analytics in the video industry grows higher than ever, certain quality of experience (QoE) tools have become the bare minimum required to operate in the ecosystem, casting calls of commoditization over analytics vendors needing to maintain differentiating facets in order to stay alive. Nonetheless, alongside that risk, the omnipresence of metrics requires a certain level of standardization to ensure communication and interoperability.
