“Build it and the viewers will come” was the mantra of ballsy start-up Telly, the free TV slinger which burst onto the scene in 2023. The reality, however, has been sobering for Telly. Numbers have surfaced showing that Telly has shipped just 35,000 units of its free TV set, which includes a second screen displaying a combination of ads and widgets, to consumers across the US.
