Australia’s nbn (national broadband network) broke its silence this week, celebrating the milestone of 1 million high speed upgrades to the country’s mammoth fiber broadband access initiative – in another frail attempt to reassure the country all is well as CEO Bill Morrow prepares to vacate his position before year end. nbn has now connected 3.7 million homes and businesses, from a reach of 6.5 million premises, claiming the project is on track to connect 8 million by the end of 2020.
