Away from the gravitational pull of Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone, two more modest operator strategies stuck out during our visit to Connected TV World Summit in London last week. Cyta, the Cyprus-based service provider, detailed its nearly two-decade transformation that has recently seen the operator debut in smart TV apps, in its first offering outside a set top environment. Meanwhile, the SVoD service Go3 – from Baltics-based media group TV3 – was one of the success stories of the event.
