Ateme sees AWS as closest rival, as US sales make up lion’s share

French video compression specialist Ateme is enjoying its new US impetus. Full-year revenue is up 15% for 2022, reaching $98.8 million – tantalizing close to the $100 million milestone which the company is guaranteed to hit this year (bar an unprecedented disaster). One surprise takeaway for the year is that Ateme actually pulled into profitability for the second half of the year, hitting $89,500 in net profit for H2. However, this was not enough to offset the net loss of -$140,000 for the first six months of 2022 – bringing the year’s total net loss to -$50,200.
