Striking three birds with one stone, French multicast ABR slinger Broadpeak has revealed that Latam operator giant América Móvil has deployed its nanoCDN technology in three countries, to reduce costs and drive scalability for the Claro Video OTT service. Now more than a decade old, Claro Video is a relative veteran of streaming, and is best known as an on-demand platform, whereas multicast ABR technology is targeted at reducing delivered data volumes for congested large-scale linear events.
