Simplification was an overwhelming theme at this year’s NAB Show, in terms of vendors making it easier for non-technical customers to deploy and manage video technology products and services, as well as in the sense of saving costs internally by updating existing products instead of launching shiny new ones. Faultline’s first encounter of this trend came at Wowza, with the US live streaming specialist teasing its unofficially-named Wowza Video 2.0 platform.
