Embryonic sports streamer Venu Sports has been sent back to the drawing board after a US court ruled in favor of FuboTV’s preliminary injunction, described as one of the most powerful tools in the arsenal of judicial remedies. Given that none of Venu Sports’ three backers—Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros Discovery—will be easily persuaded to relinquish their treasured sports rights, the situation is at a stalemate, and in danger of being derailed entirely.
