The decision by Swiss security powerhouse Kudelski to sell its Skidata visitor management business a month ago was a bolt from the blue. Pre-covid there were suggestions that this division was untouchable, and it was more likely that Kudelski would continue breaking up and divesting Nagra video assets to clear the path to becoming a pure cybersecurity and IoT monitoring firm.
