Five years ago this week… Comcast was really getting its teeth into ad tech, lunging for Google’s jugular as the cable giant accused Google of waving privacy concerns to hinder its video ad arm FreeWheel from selling ads on YouTube. This was a warning shot to Google that Comcast would not stand for such anti-competitive practices where its beloved video was concerned.
