A1 Telekom, the European branch of Mexican MNO giant America Movil, has taken steps to tighten up quality of experience (QoE) for subscribers of its XploreTV platform – with installation of a new head-end-based network analytics system. Specifically, A1 Serbia has deployed software from Swedish vendor Agama Technologies, a long-term supplier to the A1 Group web of service providers, with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of video service performance through real-time insights from subscriber activity. “Actionable insights” are the best thing since sliced bread in the video and network analytics realms, and A1’s operations team can now gain an understanding of the UX across devices to make informed decisions, which are fed to the customer care team.
