Accedo, like many software companies spearheading video experiences for pay TV operators on the front-end, has spent years waxing lyrical about tapping into virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences, without any signs that it has the necessary infrastructure to make even a small splash in the XR pool. Sweden-based Accedo has rectified that this week, with the acquisition of Munich-based XR developer eyecandylab.
