Project Kuiper now has FCC approval, and Amazon has confirmed plans to invest $10 billion into its planned network of 3,326 low earth orbit (LEO) satellites. CSPs should be very worried that the inevitable bundle with Amazon Prime could decimate their subscriber bases, and with SpaceX’s Starlink also on the scene, LEO broadband is poised to be immensely disruptive.
