Video encoding vendor Ateme has reported a revenue decline of 17% for the first half of 2024, falling to €40.8 million ($44.5 million) compared to €49.1 million ($53.7 million) in H1 2023. The business was impacted by an ominous erosion of business in the US and Canada, which has been central to the French video software company’s spirited rise in recent years.
