Brightcove executives were practically bursting at the seams to demo the video software company’s new Quality of Experience (QoE) analytics dashboard at the 2023 NAB Show. It’s easy to understand why, too – with the product more than a year in the making, since Brightcove’s acquisition of audience analytics vendor Wicket Labs for $13.2 million, back in February 2022. With the added investment of Brightcove’s existing in-house analytics capabilities, plus the product investment over the past 12+ months, Brightcove must have easily invested a cool $20 million into this new product alone.
