The CEOs of Europe’s big four telcos, Vodafone, Telefonica, Orange and Deutsche Telekom, joined forces during a keynote at the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 – calling for substantial regulatory change and relaxation across Europe. This time, the four are almost more desperate in their pleas compared to previous chapters in the saga, arguing that capital markets are running out of patience over funding their respective 5G roll outs.
