Idaho-based Edge Networks – a new face on the MVPD scene – is preparing to launch the first ATSC 3.0 service of Q4 2020 as virtual IBC fever fast approaches. Called Evoca, the offering is evocative of Edge Networks’ claims from earlier this year that it has identified opportunities in underserved secondary and tertiary video markets, as well as more populous regions with poor broadband connectivity in the US.
