One of many buzzy announcements from the 2023 NAB Show on the subject of FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) includes a partnership struck between Accedo, Amagi and ThinkAnalytics. Initially, this was viewed as a something-and-nothing threesome. That was until our trip to the ThinkAnalytics stand where we discovered that the recommendations engine provider has changed the game by enabling personalized FAST channel streams on a multicast basis. “Witchcraft” came the cries of nearby exhibitors at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
