Netflix onboarded 8 million subscribers in the second quarter of 2024 to reach a global user base totaling 277.65 million – beating almost all expectations. There are now only two quarterly reports remaining in which Netflix will publicly disclose subscriber numbers, before the streaming company washes its hands of this metric from Q1 2025.
