eSports firm Dreamback, part of MTG, is collaborating with Discovery Networks Denmark and Danish soccer league Superliga to form a national league pitting clubs against each other on FIFA, the popular console and PC game, rather than opening it up to consumers. Discovery’s streaming service DPlay will broadcast the tournament, called eSuperLiga, twice a week. It will debut on November 5, when 16 professional Danish soccer clubs will compete for a €50,000 ($58,000) check.
