Reacting to demand in the form of receiving 400,000 website requests from US viewers, Indian streaming service Zee5 is making its debut in the US market next week. It could mark major expansions for Kaltura and XroadMedia, two software suppliers which have been crucial cogs in Zee5’s rise, should the company choose to use them for its US expansion. A few curious online queries are one thing; converting those to fully paid up subscribers is another entirely.
