Attribution outfit Samba TV has tapped measurement firm 605 to improve its audience segmentation capabilities. Samba TV will gain exclusive addressable access to an unspecified subset of the latter’s TV data set, with which it will create segments that can be targeted across CTV and all connected devices in the home. Any avid Faultline reader will know that Samba TV has not found much favor among its competitors in attribution and measurement, with a reputation for a large-scale but ultimately blunt approach to capturing audience data and identifying content.
