Charter Communications CEO Tom Rutledge relished the opportunity to mock cable TV rivals as his company pulled off a second quarter miracle – bucking the cord cutting trend with the addition of 102,000 video subscribers. “Nothing has changed the secular trend, although there probably was a little less downgrading during the period because so many people were stuck in front of screens at home.
