Sony pushed ahead this week with the introduction of its first PC containing the Blu-ray disk drives for High Definition DVDs, but the introduction at the same time of a tiny $1,800 Vaio Micro PC which weighs 1 pound and runs Windows XP, overshadowed the announcement. The device is literally pocket sized and for the first time Sony is taking the manufacturing and component sourcing skills that go into its consumer electronics and has applied them to making PCs.
