Two heavyweights of OTT video in the world’s fastest growing economy, Zee5 India and SonyLIV India, graced the virtual stage at this week’s ConnecTechAsia show – presenting similar success stories with very different lessons for how to grow a direct to consumer service. Unfortunately, the two presentations were entirely separate, rather than the head-to-head debate everyone would have preferred, and – as any seasoned virtual event goer will know by now – live rarely means live, and therefore neither does live Q&A.
