We’ve all heard of banner ads, L-bar ads, and unskippable ads, but imagine a TV set with a separate screen dedicated to showing ads – permanently emblazoning commercials from bezel-to-bezel of your viewing experience. This is not a dystopian nightmare, but the very real vision of Ilya Pozin, co-founder of Pluto TV, who has reinvested some of the $340 million from the sale of Pluto TV (to Paramount in 2019) in a new hardware venture called Teevee.
