Pirates will never go away but at least they can usually be kept in check such that their impact on revenue streams is marginal or at any rate manageable. In the TV and movie business the advent of UHD TV is raising the stakes by making pirated content easier to capture at high quality, helped by the growth in video streaming over the Internet.
