Among many things 2020 has thrown our way, the technology industry has experienced a year of countless awkward moments in the virtual event scene, which some have interpreted – incorrectly – as ironic, particularly when live video or audio streams have failed mid-discussion at an event featuring prominent speakers from the network world.
