As all measurement firms vie to supersede Nielsen, VideoAmp is firmly trying to get its foot in the door of cross-platform measurement. The firm is preparing to kick off a pilot test with five of the six largest media buying groups to see if it can provide an alternative currency to Nielsen, with the hope of launching a currency publicly within the next two years.
