Sports-focused OTT video platform Vidgo was reborn as a new vMVPD service in October, soft-launching in the US market offering 50 channels. Three months later, Vidgo has bulked up its offering to over 100 channels and brought in assistance from compression and media processing pioneer Harmonic to scale the American dream. Vidgo arrived into a congested market, hoping its initial aggressive price point of $14.99 a month could wrestle it a sizable enough loyal fan base to stay afloat.
