The opening panel session during day 2 of the StreamTV Show, hosted in Denver, Colorado, was the executive personification of Four Weddings and a Funeral. One overenthusiastic moderator and three optimistic cable veterans found themselves battling against the cynical musings of a video industry executive who had all the makings of someone suffering from a chronic conference hangover. That said, we agreed with most of what the pessimistic panelist – Shane Cannon, President at US streaming TV service Vidgo – had to say.
