The integration of Netflix’s Video Multimethod Assessment Fusion (VMAF) metric into the VEGA Media Analyzer product from Interra Systems, 8 years after the streamer launched VMAF, tells us that video service providers are increasingly prioritizing perceptual quality metrics for streaming—particularly in competitive markets like the US, Europe, and developed pockets of APAC.
