Owners of Samsung Galaxy smartphones and Samsung Gear VR headsets will be able to experience this summer’s Olympics in Rio in virtual reality for the first time in the sporting event’s history. NBC Sports subscribers will be able to access 85 hours of “delayed” VR content via Comcast’s NBC app – covering the opening ceremonies, men’s basketball, gymnastics, track and field events, beach volleyball, diving, boxing, and fencing.
