Warner Bros Discovery has cashed in on a raft of European content designed to streamline the overweight merged mass media conglomerate. The deal is a quid pro quo one, packaging up European rights for 168 episodes from 21 local series, including a handful of highly popular HBO Max shows, in a major boost for SkyShowtime – a new kid on the European streaming block at just three months young.
