Amid the worst scandal in the company’s history, Facebook increased daily active users by 13% to 1.45 billion and monthly active users to 2.2 billion in the first quarter of 2018, bringing revenue growth of 49% year on year to $12 billion. Advertising revenues, forming the bulk of the business, climbed 50% to $11.8 billion, of which mobile represented approximately 91% of ad revenue for the quarter, up from 85% last year.
