Tuning into another Bitmovin live stream this week, Faultline was surprised to hear about a relatively new integrated video platform (IVP) that the video compression specialist built jointly with Vimond and Accenture last year, launched peak pandemic. We were then bemused to find that nothing has been written on the collaboration, besides a vague product page – so allow us to do the honors. The IVP project came about following demand from mutual customers of the three technology vendors for a clean and interoperable architecture enabling rapid activation of new video experiences. We’ll look more closely at what each one of Bitmovin, Vimond and Accenture contributed to the platform soon, but first, one of the central selling points is flexibility.…
