Norwegian WiFi start-up Domos, a specialist in applying machine learning to application-specific experiences, is arguably punching well above its weight by landing a sizable CPE deployment deal with Kaon Broadband, the gateway arm of the South Korean set top manufacturer. The essence of the partnership is to accelerate the availability of WiFi slicing, meaning Domos and Kaon Broadband can support pilots and market tests with all service providers that have been demanding this type of deployment, which Faultline has been informed includes Verizon, Vodafone and BT.
