In another sporting win for Amazon Web Services, the NHL has picked the public cloud provider to host its new cloud infrastructure. Adding hockey to both the NFL and Formula 1, Amazon looks like it is moving into a position where it can leverage AWS to expand the appeal of its Prime Video services – which it has been consistently bulking up with sports offerings.
