Apple has poached a senior Netflix video engineer to lead the iPhone maker’s Apple TV+ streaming business towards the light. The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple’s recent spate of engineering hires is to avoid syncing faults and information display errors which have historically plagued its other services businesses like Apple Music and Maps. The new Apple hire, Ruslan Meshenberg, also served as Netflix’s Director of Cloud.
