Disney’s Mulan has not had a good time in China, despite the film being heavily targeted at the country and its government. The latest box office figures for the first week stand at $23.2 million, and just $40 million globally, and with a budget thought to be over $200 million, that’s a bitter pill to swallow. That same weekend, Tenet took around $30 million in China’s box office, and now stands at around $207 million globally.
